Online giving:

Image result for pennies for patients

NJHS is sponsoring the Pennies for Patients Fundraiser during the month of February. Please join our efforts in collecting spare change or donating online to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

All students have been given a box to collect spare change. NJHS will be collecting change each Friday in homeroom.
For more information see Mrs. Voelkel in room 711.

Windwood Farms -

NJHS is spearheading a collection for Windwood Farms in Awendaw. Please look at the letter below and at the website link to see how you can help make a difference this holiday season! All donations can be brought to Mrs. Voelkel's room, 711.

Here is the letter from their director:

We've currently got 27 boys on our residential campus in Awendaw, but we serve around 75 children per year at that location. In our community-based prevention program, we serve around 1,000 children throughout the Tri-county area. I've made a list of things that we're currently in need of for our boys and our community outreach program.

  • Fleece blankets

  • Men's toiletry bags and toiletries

  • Pop-up hampers

  • Gift cards to stores like Walmart, Target, etc. (help buy new clothes and shoes when new boys are admitted to Windwood)

  • Duffle bags (most of our boys arrive with their clothes in trash bags)

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
